Roland Awah — Founder & President
Roland Awah leads LionBridge Partners with over 20 years of experience in complex, high-risk environments. A former U.S. Army officer and combat veteran, he has directed multi-agency emergency operations, hazardous materials oversight, military transformation initiatives, and IT modernization efforts.
At LionBridge, Roland drives strategy, operations, and execution across the firm’s core capabilities: CBRNE and Emergency Response, Environmental and Infrastructure Support, Training & Preparedness, and Secure Cloud IT & DevSecOps. He built the company to deliver practical, results-driven solutions for federal, state, and local agencies—especially when speed, safety, and technical discipline are non-negotiable.
Roland holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (with a minor in Chemistry) from Rutgers University.
Why I Started LionBridge
After two decades in uniform and civil service, I saw a pattern: urgent missions slowed by bureaucracy, contracts awarded to teams that weren’t ready, and execution that fell short. I founded LionBridge to change that—to build a company rooted in discipline, speed, and standards, delivering when and where it counts. We operate with the urgency of a unit, not a bureaucracy, and measure success by outcomes, not checklists. At LionBridge, every mission gets the focus, precision, and accountability it deserves.
